There was so much mist, we were all hanging around Peak hut waiting for it to burn off so we could get our good view of both sides of the pass.
Turns out that the hut is on the pass, so ALL the mist goes across the hut. Just a minute out of the hut, it cleared almost instantly. For the two hours we could still see the hut, it was shrouded in mist.
